If you can swim, yes!

Paddleboarding is a very accessible sport, you just have to go at your own pace. If you have no balance, no problem! you can paddle on your knees on the paddle board!

To have your child aged 12 and under on your board, contact us directly at info@opagaie.com. 🙂

The gourmet offer differs from one activity to another, but will always be made up of the best products from the Portneuf region! Just make sure to arrive with an empty stomach 😉

We do our very best to offer a range of options for people with allergies or special condition. Most of our gourmet partners take many conditions into consideration.

Just let us know when booking your excursion and we’ll make sure we can acomodate you.

If the weather forces Õ Pagaie to cancel its activities (storm or strong wind), a credit or refund free of charge will be made.

In case of rain, the activity is neither canceled nor reimbursed.

We have identified several bodies of water that are perfect for paddleboarding in our area!

A large part of our activities will be in the Portneuf Regional Nature Park and in some areas of the St. Lawrence River.

You’ll find all the informations about the location when you book your trip.

Yes. A minimum of 4 participants is required for the course to take place.

We reserve the right to cancel the excursion 48 hours before the activity if there are less than 4 registered participants. In this case, a credit, a change for another date or a refund will be made.

It is possible to move your reservation free of charge up to 5 days before the activity, for another available date or for a credit.

Less than 5 days before the activity, no change or refund will be possible, the entire payment will be kept by O Pagaie.

Cancellation policy (weather)

  • In case of rain, the activity is neither canceled nor refunded. No refund or credit will be made if you wish to cancel your reservation.
  • In the event of cancellation by O Pagaie (storms or strong winds), a credit, a change to another available date or a refund free of charge will be made.

*** The decision to maintain or cancel a reservation due to the weather will be made by O Pagaie no later than 3 hours before the start of the activity. It is also possible that O Pagaie may cancel during the activity if the weather conditions deteriorate.

A company accredited “Quality-safety” by Aventure Écotourisme Québec has:

  • Rigorous safety standards (including: small guide/client ratio…)
  • Specialized local guides
  • Quality equipment
  • Liability insurance
  • Thorough knowledge of the natural environment
  • An enriching and authentically Quebec experience

The “Aventure Écotourisme Québec Certified” seal is a gauge of quality and safety for the public. 

When practiced properly, paddleboarding carries very little risk.

However, here are some possible risks:

  • Injuries from falls or other movements
  • Injuries with blunt or sharp objects (branch, equipment, etc.)
  • Cold or hypothermia
  • Burns or heat disorders

To minimize the risk of accidents, it is important to:

  • Wear your PFD at all times
  • Not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol
  • Bring what you need to protect yourself from the cold or the sun

As recommended by our Taiga board supplier, the maximum user weight (or users combined) is approximately 250 lbs.
